Lion Cub

Who doesn’t like a cute Lion cub? This was taken in Kenya a few years back where we followed a pack of Lions for a few hours. It was great fun to watch them play and you get to see very similar behaviours to a domestic cat, although obviously a domestic cat is probably not going to rip your arm off and eat you 🙂

Interesting fact: A lions heels don’t touch the ground when they walk.

The Lion population is estimated to have dropped by 43% over the last 21years and is currently listed as Vulnerable by the IUCN.

You can buy a copy of this wildlife print, along with some other art from Africa, here: Lion cub print
