Welcome to my website and nice of you to drop by 😊

I used to be an IT consultant specialising in Cloud Architecture but I was lucky enough to be able to retire early which allows me to dabble in anything that takes my fancy (just started to see if I can learn how to program in Swift). I have an allotment and enjoy growing a lot of my own food (handy as I’m a vegetarian), which takes up a fair bit of time during the summer months.

I’ve been interested in photography since about 2008 when I acquired a digital camera (Nikon D80) and have tried many different genres but the current one I’m interested in is wildlife. I’ve managed to travel around the world to some amazing locations to see the animals in their natural habitat which is pretty cool. The aim is to see as much as possible before their habitats are completely decimated 😦

I’ve had a few images published in magazines and books, including National Geographic, plus a couple in exhibitions. I’ve even had an image exhibited by the fashion photographer Rankin at his London gallery, which was pretty special (as was the opening party…).

You will find a selection of images of different genres here and I will endeavour to add new ones fairly regularly. I will also add random things to the blog now and again and will probably pick a few images and give an outline of how they were taken.
